Autumn Noel
ACTRESS
How did you come across Vertical Dramas?.
Back in 2023 when a lot of people in the industry weren’t working (including myself) because of the strike I got an audition from my agent for something peculiar. Didn’t know much about it. When I got the sides I was stunned because it had words like Alpha and Luna. I had never auditioned for anything with that kind of material before honestly. My self tape coach who helped me through it Brad was just as confused as I was. I did the audition anyways even though I almost didn’t send it. One hour later I got the call that I booked the role of Selene Lovette in Fated to my Forbidden Alpha for the App Reelshort and it’s been like a dominoe effect since working on vertical after vertical.
What is your favourite project you have worked on so far?
Fated to my Forbidden Alpha will always have a special place in my heart since it was my first.
The King’s Guard and The Influencer. I almost didn’t do that project either but I’m so happy I did. It was such a fun project to be apart of.
Mommy I Got You A Date also has such a special place in my heart. The whole cast and crew of that project were incredible.
Who is your unsung hero? Someone in the industry who should get more credit?
I have to give this one to the woman who has made me feel the safest on every project we have been on together but Olivia Ku. Intimacy Coordinators are so important. She is one of the first I ever worked with and has remained one of the best. I feel like intimacy work isn’t appreciated enough even though it’s such a big part of a lot of vertical scripts
What do you wish more people knew about verticals?
How much work actually goes into them. I know they seem easy but it takes so much skill and effort on everyone’s part to make these come to life
What are you most proud of?
Honestly moving to Los Angeles alone at 19. I had no family. Barely any friends. No money of my own. Somehow I made it work and built a life for myself doing the one thing I had always dreamed of. I never thought it was possible.
