Jayda Stephens
ACTRESS
How did you come across Vertical Dramas?.
Quite funny, last year I did about 2 acting classes and got a demo reel with my younger brother, Noah Stephens right away. He got scouted by a producer at a restaurant, she saw his demo reel which I was in.
He asked him who I was and got my contact info right away, I filmed an audition (never even knew how to) and I filmed a week after. It was my first time really acting and acting in front of the camera.
What is your favourite project you have worked on so far?
Tides of Desire (coming soon) was such a surreal experience filmed out in Costa Rica, it was very different from all the other verticals l've done.
What is the craziest thing you have found yourself doing while working on a vertical?
Surfing! (stay tuned) It was such a challenge but l'm so grateful it's now something that I love to do and grow from!
What are you most proud of?
I would say acting. It came into my life unexpectedly, but it’s challenged me in the most positive way. I truly felt a spark when I began taking classes—especially considering how terrified I used to be to even read in front of a class. Now, it's become my career. I've grown so much since starting this journey, and with every opportunity to practice, I continue to evolve both personally and professionally.
