How did you come across Vertical Dramas?.
Submitted through Actors Access after several actor friends were finding job opportunities
What is your favourite project you have worked on so far?
Always thankful for the work and the people you meet. Couldn’t pick a favorite. They all bring their own special memories.
What is the craziest thing you have found yourself doing while working on a vertical?
Playing the evil stepmother has had me do some pretty awful things… we shall leave it at that lol
Who is your unsung hero? Someone in the industry who should get more credit?
Corbin Timbrook! Has done around 50 verticals. Super supportive of everyone he works around and has so much great advice to share. Talented, handsome, supportive, disciplined and full of film/acting knowledge. If you have had the pleasure to work with him, then you know.
What do you wish more people knew about verticals?
The equipment, set, crew, and locations are high quality. They are a great opportunity to work and it’s no different then being on an independent film set. Submit and if you are fortunate to book, always be thankful! Work begets work!
What developments would you like to see in the industry in the year ahead?
Always looking for well written material with new ideas. We certainly don’t have to recreate the wheel but variety is the spice of life!
What are you most proud of?
I’m still here! This is a last man standing game… you never know when opportunity will arrive and change your path! I’m super proud of my relationships with my Love, friends and family. Having the support and courage to step out of my comfort zones and move where happiness and career has taken me over the years. Last, but certainly not least, my theatre company, SkyPilot, that keeps me creative as I give myself and many others a voice to share their talents and art with the public. My love of theater, where this journey began, has never wavered. Blessed and thankful!
Which vertical actor would you like to play you in the biopic of your life?
Well, my dear friend, Bri Ana Wagner would for sure have to play me!!! 😉
3 Random Facts:
⭐ I’m a cat mom!
⭐ I’m from a very small town (less than 3000) in southwest Missouri, called Marionville.
⭐ As goofy as this sounds, it helped set me on this path… I was Little Miss Junior America, a long time ago, because of that opportunity, I traveled around the country, had my first plane ride and spent summers in NYC with other young actors working to get our starts. Made lifelong friends and have stories that I still sometimes can’t believe that I was lucky enough to experience.
