She agrees, and they move in together, juggling a hidden marriage, growing attraction, and sabotage from her jealous half-sister Veronica, who wants Liam for herself.

REVIEW

⭐⭐⭐⭐

Ah Grace and Liam, a perfect example of the need for conversations and good communication. Both utterly adorable as they tentatively work out how to let the other one in.

This is very K Drama coded, lots of tropes and close ups and beautiful suffering by ridiculously attractive cast members

The reason it all works is because the leads are so good

I didn't recognize @fallcosplay at first because even her body language is so different and timid, Alessia completely transforms how she takes up space, and shows us a shy girl who blossoms with a little bit of kindness. She is so so good, and just brilliant in this. You feel everything she feels, and keeps you gripped throughout

Likewise one of my fave @ian_schutzman roles, he is given a lot more to work with here. Liam has his own insecurities, tries to deal with Veronica professionally but inevitably ends up losing his patience with her.

They have lots of amazing scenes together. It really is all about them, and you feel like you are privy to intimate moments you shouldn't be there for.

@tessclarke3 does sterling work as the ever deluded Veronica, who has the classic villainess moment of screaming why are you all obsessed with Grace, not realising that she herself is the most obsessed.

And I feel Milo | Cameron Gardiner and Elliot both deserve plaudits for handling it all so well and stepping aside gracefully (do you see what I did there)

It can get a bit overwrought, especially when it would all be solved with a short conversation. But well worth a watch if you want a slow burn romance with lots of chemistry and longing.

💖 Top swoonworthy moment:

Never have I believed an on screen crush more - Alessia Medina captures it perfectly, and the constant self doubt. It is cleverly put together, with the flashback to her watching Liam at school and slow reveals each time. And then chemistry in spades.

🦹🏼‍♂️ Top villain award:

Veronica’s delusion is something to behold. Take the hint woman. And how on earth does she still have a job given the complete failure to stay calm in a crisis with the emergency landing and then nut allergy?

😂 Comedy gold:

We will not talk about the iced lolly. Or the Carry On style air traffic control innuendos. I appreciate the attempt to make these scenes different, and some arty camera work. Didn’t quite work though, I did end up giggling.

🎺 Unsung hero:

Milo, because he really does let Liam off the hook. That is not cool letting your co-pilot think he has a chance for so long. And then Elliot is a stand up guy as well, and helps our leads out. Liam you owe them both a pint. They both helped you out way more than you deserved.
