Just finished Married In A Heartbeat on Reelshort!

Luke Charles Stafford seems to have cornered the market in playing leads who are total gentlemen. And does a very good wink.

Loved Haley Lohrli in this, she is great at showing a fragile-looking character who actually has inner steel. Love that Esther was determined to deal with things herself and not just rely on Ricky

Jeff Lawless made the initially awful Jerry redeemable - amazing feat

And certain jail won't hold Lisha (Mackenna Ginn) long. Just know she will strike a deal with someone and soon be out wreaking havoc

This one is utterly lovely, and really sweet

Only reason is didn't get 5 stars was a bit too long spent bargaining about the summer cabin papers, and I think evil step mum Karen should have been unleashed earlier! Clearly the one who got things done in that house.

💖 Top swoonworthy moment:

There isn’t a single moment in this series, for me, it is the fact that this couple are devoted to each other from the outset, and Ricky would do anything for Esther. It’s lovely to see lots of sweet couple time, rather than it being truncated to the final episode.

🦹🏼‍♂️ Top villain award:

Dad and step mum Karen are pretty awful, but it has to go to Makenna Ginn as Lisha York. Even in jail at the end, she makes an orange jumpsuit look good, and you know she will soon have schemed her way out of there…

😂 Comedy gold:

The Roborock advertising- kudos to the cast for keeping a straight face and leaning into the sales pitch. Loved it! And genuinely impressed that it can lift itself up over inclines. I do kind of want one now.

🎺 Unsung hero:

It’s a tie- Jeff Lawless manages to make Jerry redeemable, I felt bad for him in the end. And Adam Chisnall is always good value and totally sells the scene where he pretends to be Mr Patterson.
