This is so good

Now intense storyline. We have attempted SA, violence and more but it makes sense, and is never ever minimised.

This is my point people. I'm not staying verts have to be harps and hugs and halos.

I'm saying if you are showing these things, show the FL struggle to cope afterwards, show the physical cost of fights. And write villains like this, so well drawn you know exactly who they are and why they are doing things.

It looks phenomenal, there is appropriate original music, a strong love story at the centre, morally complex characters. This is perhaps the first vert I would consider suggesting my husband watches.

Cast are ace @nazargrabar who brings the physicality, charm and emotional weight of Troy

@mary.vysnevska is perfect as Mia, enjoyed her apologies to the goon she knocks out with that uppercut

@arturshurypa is terrifying and brilliant as unhinged Logan

@olena.oleynikova brings layers to manipulative Amanda

And the always superb @taniazlova - in 2026 please can someone give her a dream Audrey Hepburn type role

There is so much to dig into here, should Mia have saved Logan. Steve's vindictive pettiness. The giant teddy bear in verts having an awful secret. The maggots. Troy's guilt for not checking messages. The flashbacks as it is slowly revealed what happened to Jessie.

Flipping brilliant.

💖 Top swoonworthy moment:

Lovely circle back to the beginning at the end. But it has to be Mia realising she loves Troy because she rushes out of the bathroom to save him with dull scissors.

🦹🏼‍♂️ Top villain award:

Amanda is superbly written and portrayed, but it has to be Logan. One of the truly terrifying vertical villains. Chills down the spine. That moment where he screams in the ring that he is the Pitbull.

😂 Comedy Action gold:

The best fight scenes I have seen in a vertical you feel the force of every punch. The apartment fight is brilliantly done. Throughout there are some amazing camera angles. And the final fight when Troy realises the significance of Logan’s pendant whilst he taunts him upside down from above - pure cinema.

🎺 Unsung hero:

The ring announcer is brilliant. And Tetiana Zlova makes a smaller role count as Jessie. She never misses.
