Right I need someone to work out the stats.

The serious arrival of the cowboy vertical has coincided with budget cuts so a lot of our male leads are nobly sacrificing for the cause and going without.

Currently think it is a score draw between @jacksontiller__ and @ryley_schroeder who spends the most time with their shirt off, someone needs to time it, and let me know.

This is very good and one of the best bits are the Southern accents. It adds so much, a sense of place and is new! We like new.

And the superstar pairing of @sarahgraceee with Ryley - they burn up the screen together and work miracles with some of the love scene dialogue which is a little wince inducing. I do wish it was a little more natural.

However our leads sell it. Jessa has a beautiful relationship with her father, so you can see why she is torn by disobeying him, and Hart is brash and arrogant, and has to grow up a little to make the relationship work

All the stunts are well handled, and the supporting cast are all super
@juliaklinestiver is so funny
@_jordandyck takes a lot of punches well
@davidedelstien ensures you always understand where Coach Wesley is coming from, and his love for his daughter

Plus the whole thing looks iconic - the rain at night and lasso scene, the outside shower, evening hiding in the closet.

Someone has thought about every shot and polished it in post production and that is appreciated.

💖 Top swoonworthy moment:

It is all sun and tan and abs and not a lot of clothes. And showers. And rain scenes. The makers of this understood the assignment. The romance novel dialogue did make me wince occasionally but is saved by the fact the two leads are so darn good and make it all work. Chemistry ahoy. This is what we are looking for folks.

🦹🏼‍♂️ Top villain award:

Jordan Dyck! What are you doing? Elijah seems like a good option - until he does very bad things. Do not worry he gets his comeuppance from both Daddy dearest and Hart armed with a cow poke.

😂 Comedy gold:

I know she is the baddy but Lou-Ann / Pam is a hoot from the moment she squeals that she sent Hart nudes. Also love Hart always getting her name wrong. And some of the choice insults to Elijah like 'shrimp dick'.

🎺 Unsung hero:

The judicial use of Al - there is a brief Al shot when Hart is riding the bull early on. It is just enough to give you the impression he is riding the bull without lingering on it. Most of the scene is old school film making. This is how to use Al well.
