REVIEW

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

In my very brief moment of looking at AI verticals in the summer to understand what was out there, an AI version of this story was the only one I finished. And I was so frustrated. It was such a good story and such a waste to make it with AI. No dragon kings here, if it is set in high school make it with people.

Well thank goodness there is a live action version. It is MILES BETTER and features phenomenal performances from @christineschlehuber and @noahandre_ and endless proof of why we need human choices and emotions over the soulless void of AI

Because this is one of the best enemies to lovers stories you will see, this pair squabble. A lot. And Aria is no pushover. Half the fun is seeing her confound Ronan and his friends by refusing to bow to their hierarchy and beating him in fencing (not sure why she doesnt fence competitively)

I can't begin to tell you how good Christine and Noah are. Both become must watch actors in verticals

Christine has Meg Ryan like vibes, but better. She brings more emotion and strength

And Noah Andre. I give up. I surrender.

It is his world and we get to live in it

I know I should be more coherent but I cant. Just this is why we need human made verticals

@elyse_mirto has a super brief appearance as the glamorous grandmother

@breaugsburg gets to bring mean girl vibes

Wish I knew who rest of cast were, all great

Just this is joyous. Proper romance. Great story. Original. Please go watch and show @dramabox_official live action is the way to go.

💖 Top swoonworthy moment:

There is non stop chemistry here, but the scene where Ronan finally pours his heart out about how much he loves Aria, how he has trained until his legs gave way to impress her. Perfection. Also rain scene. Iconic.

🦹🏼‍♂️ Top villain award:

Oh Tiffany. Question - where does she get the chloroform to knock out Aria? Someone is making money selling this stuff to jealous girls in verticals. Also Selena - arson? Again you have gone from 1 to 100 here luv.

😂 Comedy gold:

Loads of fun seeing Aria turn the tables on Ronan - esp in both shower scenes. I appreciated it not being the female lead who has her clothes taken for once. Also enjoyed Aria kicking Ronan’s car in frustration at one point. And the fight on the sofa.

🎺 Unsung hero:

Aria’s best friend Miles (or Milo?) because he comes through every time, and gets his mum’s pizza shop burnt down as a thank you.
