Now this is the problem. I watched a few episodes of this. And then got convinced it was AI, I didn't know the cast. And a lot of AI generated content has a female lead who looks a lot like Amanda Jordan. Her skin is so flawless, and there is a look to this show, I thought it was AI. And I immediately stopped, felt guilty, and annoyed because the premise was great.

Then @verti.verse found proof it was real, as the actors posted about it and I was able to finish it

The concept is simple, grim reapers are among us, and assigned to kiss people when their time is up. But what happens when grim reaper Tobias develops feelings for Gabby and fails to let her die?

It's short, just 20 eps but so well done. It's a new story, you don't know how it will end and all the cast, especially Tobias and Eve are super

@amandajordanmusic is the doctor with a heart who threatens death because she will find a cure and save many lives

@_markballantyne_ brings an EMO look to verts, and captures Tobias's inner conflict - together the pair manage to build a strong connection in a very short time

Also really liked @sarah_desouza as Eve, looked phenomenal, and brought a spiky energy

Plus lovely Milo, can't find the actor, please help

This is a super concept, and it could be revisited and developed more, would love it if that happened

But you can also enjoy it as it is a brief, beautiful moment

💖 Top swoonworthy moment:

This is a brief love story, and by the end you are fully invested, and rooting for our leads. Also helped by the fact Tobias looks like a cross between early Harry Styles and Christopher Briney (from The Summer I Turned Pretty).

🦹🏼‍♂️ Top villain award:

Death - but it is all beautifully handled. You could argue it is Eliza, but she leaves our leads to it.

😂 Comedy gold:

None - this is a beautiful, emotive and heartfelt short film.

🎺 Unsung hero:

Milo - who is endlessly supportive of Gabby, and never presses his suit too much.
