Oh @dramashorts_official are smashing it at the moment with original stories

This is utterly beautiful

I've been wanting a ghost, afterlife romance and this delivers. Jesse goes missing on his wedding day, leaving bride to be Harper wondering if he has left her or something worse has happened

Enter ghostly Jesse and Spirit guide Anastasia to help him figure out what his unfinished business is. It all plays out beautifully, there is a clever, original solution to giving our leads time together and the ending is perfection 🥹🥰

@ashtonsolecki is brilliant as Harper, trying to move on but still desperately in love with Jesse and hiding from her dad

@louiechapman needs to be in every single vert immediately. He is so good, his emotion and red eyes when he can't bear to leave Harper, the charm in the flashback episodes, and yes the British accent on screen.

I want a whole spin off with Anastasia @lucyppage - is her mission complete? Love seeing her slowly soften towards Louie and do all she can to help him in the end

Also love @gregory.yuan as CJ, a rate thing in an vert decent best mate and good police officer. you know CJ will always be there for Harper and Olive

And @ryanjacobucci is always excellent, this time as charmer Devin whose masks slips as soon as he puts on the leather gloves or jacket

It's just all top notch. The ghost effects are well done. The story is tight, well written and properly romantic. It's just gorgeous

In an ideal world there would be better music.

But this is so so so good, it's just wonderful. A perfect movie that happens to be filmed in vertical.

Honestly whatever you are doing at @dramashorts_official please keep it up. It is healing me!

💖 Top swoonworthy moment:

Olive Juice. The reveal to Fiona and ending made me cry, it is so beautiful. Best ever ending to this type of a story.

🦹🏼‍♂️ Top villain award:

Devin always seems too smooth and too good to be true, but the real villain of the piece is Harper's dad, Carlo Fioré – who has done truly terrible things when he things he has been betrayed, or someone has left the family.

😂 Comedy gold:

Anastasia using her powers on Devin when he is dozing in the hospital room Plus Louie using CJ to finally punch Devin in the face.

🎺 Unsung hero:

A tie between Anastasia and bestie Fiona who really comes through in the end. Closely followed by CJ. Lots of awesome characters.
