⭐⭐⭐⭐

This is a beautiful little vertical on Kalos | Mini Shorts.

It is a short film, it is less than 15 minutes long but filmed vertically.

And it is utterly lovely, as it is about the connection of Sebastian and Xavier over the piano.

It is a super cast.

Max Luck is vulnerable but privileged as Prince Xavier, and you just want to hug him when he reveals his worries at the end. Or at least give him a big mug of tea (my solution to most things).

And Freddie Palmer is great as Sebastian, he makes you feel as passionate about the music as Sebastian does, and is the perfect match for Xavier. You see his eyes light up when he talks about his inspiration in the garden.

It was a lovely way to spend 10 minutes today and my main wish is that it was longer as I could happily spend more time with all of the characters.

As it is it inspired me to change up my playlist on Spotify and I have been happy listening to some piano classics since then.

There are several beautiful moments:

• dancing together in the garden

• Sebastian asleep on the window ledge with all his notes

• Sebastian knowing where to find Xavier before the concert

None - in fact the only villain here is the fact that this is not longer, could have happily spent a lot longer in this world.

😂 Comedy gold:

None - not applicable.

🎺 Unsung hero:

The piano and the location - this whole piece has a dream like quality, because of the beauty of the location, and piano playing. It is a wonderful relaxing way to spend 10 minutes, absorbed in this short film.
