REVIEW

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Bring on the short compact thrillers. This is very good, from Omatadio media a in Canada. Simple set up, 4 people wake up trapped in high school - they all have something to hide, and also have to work out how to survive a series of deadly traps. It's tense and keeps the pace up all the way through ending with a reveal that very much sets it up for a sequel.

We have Erin Walsh as smart and sensible Tori, who is perhaps the best at keeping her head as everything goes wrong. Prom king Matt ( Trentin Legault) who really needs to be more careful with his hand. Jock Sydney (Harmela) who has a lot to hide thanks to a busted knee . Outsider Ben (Ethan Wingrove) who doesn't seem to have any connection to Cassie. And then Cassie herself (Kendyl Twa) who is the missing queen linking them all.

Huge thanks to Kendyl for recommending this to me, it's so good seeing something fresh and new. Loving this new short thriller vibe happening at the moment, with the Issa Rae one on TikTok as well. Now this is very much set up for a sequel, we need to know what happens next, so please do go and watch it.

💖 Top swoonworthy moment:

None really - though the flashbacks to what is going on at Prom are crucial. Poor Cassie.

🦹🏼‍♂️ Top villain award:

Well the mysterious voice - who comes up with some truly fiendish things, from the bleep test from hell to the horrible situation with Matt and the lockers. It's all very well done, and the tension is kept up all the way through.

😂 Comedy gold:

None - but there is a moment when it turns out everyone knows a certain secret that people think they have been subtle about keeping which made me smile.

🎺 Unsung hero:

Sydney. Can't say anymore.
