You all told me I HAD to watch this and you are right.

Another wonderful project from @watchcandyjar

Very simple, you know exactly what will happen, but beautifully shot and performed

There are a few lovely camera moments, like the end of ep 20 and beginning of ep 21 when camera cuts to mirror reflection, and then from window to the scene.

And you watch for the leads. Both mesmerising, and take the content and make it so good with all the micro expressions

@iamsophiasoto is another stellar Candyjar find, you watch every emotion flicker over her face

And I am learning more and more it is about your scene partner, because I think this is one of @noahandre_ best roles because the interaction between the two is v well done.

@amanda_troya23@justin_stanek and @cameronsomers all survive some interesting styling choices and just about pull them off

I do also believe all 3 are trapped in Candyjar land playing various characters here. And given how much everyone loves working with CJ I can see why they are all v happy there. Despite the 80s styling

It's all lovely and superb direction again from @carolinwgreyplyler

My only note is it is yet another YA title, wish CJ would widen the range a bit, and too short.

The leads are so good wanted to spend more time with them and have a few more twists and turns to the story

💖 Top swoonworthy moment:

In essence this is what all of us want to hear: “you are beautiful just as you are” and “I see you for who you are, you are more than you give yourself credit for”. Simple but so darn effective. Swoon.

🦹🏼‍♂️ Top villain award:

I mean we should say frat boys being a-holes. But there is a crime against fashion here as someone seems to want to bring back the worst of the 1980s with that tache and the polo shirt, jumper, slicked back hair combo…

😂 Comedy gold:

I do like a female best friend who backs her buddy over her brother, no question. And describing 3-4 people over for drinks as a rager did make me giggle.

🎺 Unsung hero:

Justin Stanek. Who appears to be trapped at Candyjar HQ but they are at least letting him be in all the shows. I hope they are treating you well Justin. Blink if you need rescuing.
