REVIEW

⭐⭐⭐⭐

Well @jacksontiller__ possibly breaks records in this Vertical for the amount of times he takes his shirt off. By the end I wanted to get him a jumper and multiple layers to keep warm.

Lots of fans are going to love this one, and it is made with that in mind, we have @megbush_ endlessly cute in flowery dresses, denim and cowboy boots, @jacksontiller__ going above and beyond with the shirt off, and a fresh setting.

It's just Jackson is a brilliant actor. I kind of wish he had been given a bit more in the script to do. Because Tyler is an interesting character, decent when his mum clearly isn't, and doing a job he doesn't seem to enjoy. We have some good moments of banter but just as it is about to get going, we end up with shirt off again.

I so want someone to write Jackson a Tommy Shelby type complex role. Jackson will bring the presence and aura. And we will all watch. I think we can be braver here and trust the actors more. That's what I am hoping for in 2026.

I've gone on a bit of a tangent - this is cute and fun. Refreshing to see the new location, and there are Hallmark vibes here with the city vs country theme, fundraiser to save the farm and community pulling together.

Some of my fave moments are the humour of the city boy out of his depth, the dial up computer, the wall phone, the snakes.

@katelinchesna makes the most of her all to brief moments on screen, and @josiahlips is hissable baddie Sawyer.

It's all very enjoyable, it just felt a bit staccato sometimes, I don't know if the edit was under pressure to keep things short. We jump very suddenly from scene to scene, and things like the twister and fire don't have the impact you expect them to. Everyone moves on in seconds, and actually these are great additions to the story and think could have added in even more tension. I feel like there is a director's cut somewhere I would love to see.

Now the great news is this is in loads of apps, so easy to watch.

💖 Top swoonworthy moment:

There is some cute bickering, lots of wet clothes, and endless shots of Jackson Tiller with his shirt off.

🦹🏼‍♂️ Top villain award:

The brief moments Madison has on screen are great - she really smushes that pen. And there is an extra dimension added when we find out more about Avery's dad’s death.

😂 Comedy gold:

Some fun moments - Avery showing Tyler how to use the phone (bang it against the wall) and then spearing the snake with a pitchfork.

🎺 Unsung hero:

The sheriff who gathers the neighbourhood, and your feel is the only person really looking out for Avery.
