⭐⭐⭐⭐

This is one of the first Verticals from platform @streammansa - and has a really good set up, Jada's family is involved with a secret society that controls everything and forces her to give up love Marquel.

This is made by the performances -

@shaybbay is incredibly likeable as Jada, she has backbone, asking her dad why he is 'pimping' her out and never backing down from Draya

@officialjustiindavis please cast this man in everything, he is brilliant. That scene where he lashes out as Jada for betraying him is superb. Just wish that Marquel had had a little bit more screen time

@diegoescobarhh is a super mixture of smooth, sleaze and danger

And @cortneyelise is dynamite as Draya. To be honest I could quite happily watch a two hander with Draya and Jada going at it and one upping each other.

It's short, 27 eps, in ideal world would be a bit longer, the society stuff got tied up a bit too easily. I think there is a sequel here, sure things won't be that simple for Marquel and Jada.

It's a really good solid vert, and looking forward to seeing lots more from this team

A few tech notes hope the app can sort out

- don't need the poster on the front of every episode
- I like watching with subtitles, every episode I had to go to settings and turn them on

But crucially good value, this app is a lot more affordable than many of them out there, and really clear on how many coins I would need to buy to finish show. That gets a big tick in my book.

💖 Top swoonworthy moment:

Everytime Jada and Marquel are together there is sizzle or cuteness. Adorable ending too.

🦹🏼‍♂️ Top villain award:

It's not comedy but I can't believe that this is the first vertical I have seen where the Female Lead finally deals with a douchebag male in this manner - kneeing him in the crown jewels.

😂 Comedy gold:

Lisa is wonderfully, stupidly dumb. The whole conversation where she keeps going on about the secret video is a hoot. But it has to be every time Melody’s stepbrother is on screen. Ben Cohen is amazing, every line he has is a zinger, and I love that he has decided to monetise his dysfunctional family.

🎺 Unsung hero:

Jada's mum, who it turns out is a tech queen, takes matters into her own hands, and gets the dirt on everyone.
