Oh this is brilliant. Strong female lead who uses her wits and ingenuity to survive, and an absolutely stunning looking vertical that transports you to the Sultan's palace.
It's an inspired setting, as members of the harem vye for influence and everyone in the palace seems to have a hidden agenda or be plotting for themselves. No wonder Sultan Serkan is deeply distrustful of everyone. This is a perfect escape, 90 minutes of romance, twists and turns with a superb, punch the air ending. It has an instant classic feel, with an almost fairytale like quality.

@anhelina_samchyk_trandafilova is mesmerizing as Jeren, completely holds your attention
@artemactor is superb as the Sultan, one of the best portrayals of someone weighed down by his responsibilities but decisive and dangerous when crossed
@tkachenko_ua has some amazing costumes as Sultan Mehmet and a memorable ending
@shonamarchuk is brilliant as Hatice, never overplaying it but always dangerous
@allabineeva has some phenomenal scenes especially the stand off over the poison
@debrin_andrii_actor keeps you guessing all the way through as Grand Vizier Halit

💖 Top swoonworthy moment:
Looking for a strong female lead? We have one here, Jeren survives on her wits, and it is her knowledge of poetry that attracts the Sultan's attention. There is a fairytale like quality to this, and you will be rooting for them all the way through.
🦹🏼♂️ Top villain award:
This palace is full of snakes, with rival concubine Hatice, and the Sultan's mother Valide Sultan. Plus we have rival Sultan Mehmet who claims he wants peace, or does he. Everyone single character is really well drawn, and the plot twists and turns. Brilliantly done.
😂 Comedy gold:
No comedy here - instead this has genuine tension, suspense, and some great stunts from the sword fights to the fire. It's incredibly well done, and keeps you hooked all the way through.
🎺 Unsung hero:
The production design, hair, make up and costume. Everything looks phenomenal, some of the most stunning costumes ever seen in verticals, and you instantly transported to the period and setting. Majestic.
