⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

I nearly dodged watching this one because the poster didn't appeal to me , but thank goodness I didn't. This is a masterclass in writing, how to do a super script that fully explains who both brothers are and why they are like that, whilst keeping Olivia strong, and front and centre. We have humour and emotion in every episode and writing of this strength means all the cast get to shine

We all know @haleylohrli is one of the very best, and yet again she shines here as Olivia, multi-faceted and the perfect route in for the audience. She is so good.

Then we have @ryan_t_larson best role yet as uptight Alexander, with some amazing scenes where he reveals what his father has said to him, and the toll this has taken. And he almost manages to pull off those glasses. Not quite. Olivia needs to help him out here

Another best role for @grantholleman_ who clearly needs to do more comedy with some of his timing, and eye roll when Olivia throws up. Plus he does an excellent gear change when he 'turns nasty' and then finally becomes sensitive dad to be.

@jamesc.burns is brilliant and domineering dad who chews out his sons on a daily basis

@brookemoltrum is iconic as Amy. No other words for it. Every expression, vocal inflection. All the extras she puts in like the little recovery or mugging to the crowd when she has been exposed or embarrassed. I LOVE Amy. You do deserve the best. We will sort it for you and get you a nice rich billionaire

Plus the amazing woman early on who gets very overexcited about the billionaire love triangle drama at the auction

It's just so good to watch, everyone here deserves better scripts like this one from @talia_dawn_

💖 Top swoonworthy moment:

The joy of this is that it is so well written it never becomes sleazy. Instead the intricate set up leads you to the point that both brothers have hearts set on Olivia, they are both valid options, and you don't know which way it will go.

🦹🏼‍♂️ Top villain award:

We have a lot of daddy issues here – Cole and Alexander's father is a nasty piece of work – doing a number on both his sons and ensuring they are not happy individuals. It is a stand up and cheer moment when Olivia takes him on. We also have the utterly brilliant Amy...

😂 Comedy gold:

Oh my I love Brooke Moltrum. She is a scream in this - every expression and reaction. Best ever response to having water thrown on her, and worrying about her fur. From begging daddy to help her, to desperately draping herself all over Alex it is utter genius. Did also LOL at Olivia's Dad, Dad, Surrogate in the baby class.

🎺 Unsung hero:

It has to be the writer, Talia. This is a masterpiece in how to write an original vertical. People need to teach this structure – how tightly woven the plot is, the pace, the super lines, the character development, the reveals. MASTERCLASS.
