REVIEW

⭐⭐⭐

Right I am grumpy about this one

Great title. Awesome cast

Just forgot about the story

I had high hopes of time travel shenanigans or fish out of water moments. The time travel is barely mentioned or inconsequential to the plot

You have @jaydastephens being awesome, bringing regal posture, an old fashioned formality and disciplining her wayward siblings when they let down the family name, but never develop her back story, why she is there or what happens next

It is the same with @evanbacic he turns up looking spiffing in a bow tie, and had high hopes for Julian being the warm, charismatic sunshine of the story, but he isn't given enough to do, and ends up having to deliver OTT dialogue and survive a very proper suit

You have 2 amazing actors here and just do not make the most of them

Everyone does the best they can with the script, but there just isn't the detail, for instance let @alicialoveread develop her character further - why is she estranged from Genevieve, what happened to make Mason such a disappointment

I feel I am being mega grumpy here. It is a solid vertical

It is more it feels like a massive lost opportunity, it could have been soooo much more

Time travel can be such a fun setting, really hope someone else tries the genre and goes all in on it.

💖 Top swoonworthy moment:

So much potential as we have the icy heiress Genevieve and charismatic Julian. But it is all rather wasted, as Julian never finds out about Genevieve’s past, and they don’t have enough scenes together.

🦹🏼‍♂️ Top villain award:

Gruesome twosome Sierra and Mason who have no manners, yet still look down on Genevieve.

😂 Comedy gold:

We could have had some great fish out of water, time traveller moments but there is nothing here - Genevieve is very adept with a mobile phone.

🎺 Unsung hero:

Jayda Stephen’s posture - best posture in a vertical.
