REVIEW

⭐⭐⭐⭐

Well this is good fun on DramaBox US.

Prepare yourself for a slightly insane opening episode. You won't forget it - it grabs the attention shall we say!

Then it settles down into a fun family romp, with the very awesome quadruplets driving the story forward, sorting all the adults out and even taking on the brilliantly awful Julia.

Can we please take a moment to appreciate Alexandra Swanbeck - she is without fail excellent in everything she is in, and always manages to do the perfect mixture of vulnerable and inner strength. To hold our attention on screen when you have 4 cute kids and Evan Bacic either in firefighter kit or taking his top off is something.

We all know Evan Bacic does a brilliant Mafia Boss, so it is good fun seeing him play a lighter hearted role. It really works. Loved the scenes where he is trying to impress Nora, and interacting with the kids.

Carin Smolinski is perhaps the perfect vertical mother /grandmother here. I don't know how she did it but she just makes me feel safe. She exudes compassion and warmth, and you can see why the kids take to her. It's so nice having that tenderness shown on screen rather than the standard vertical name calling etc.

Julia is wonderfully unhinged, please tell me who the actress is.

Finally hats off to all the child actors Lexie Miranda, Daniel Shevchuk, Hawk Bennett and Michell Kerwin. Top work team!

We do spend a bit long stuck with whether Brandon is father to all the kids, and would have liked a bit more romance.

But this is a good fun way to pass the time.

Enjoy.

💖 Top swoonworthy moment:

It is a little neglected with all the shenanigans - but Brandon gets to do several heroic rescues, and we get a great shot of him carrying one of the children, with another one on his back. And the ending is great.

🦹🏼‍♂️ Top villain award:

I love Julia and the way she twirls her hair around her fingers so much. Sadly Julia meets her match - she would have got away with it if it wasn’t for those pesky kids.

😂 Comedy gold:

Well the unforgettable delivery scene, with the line “Quadruplets?! The father must have saved the world or something”. The cake smash scene. Brandon hurriedly taking his shirt off at the first station to impress Nora. Oh and when Grandma thinks Brandon is finally getting some action 😂

🎺 Unsung hero:

It has to be the kids - love that they all have distinct personalities. Casey is selling her art, the stellar hacking abilities and more. Oh and they save their Grandma’s life. 4 superstars.
