REVIEW

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Oh this is just utterly scrumptious and adorable on @kalostvapp

There are so many amazing creatives who I want to write reviews from, just desperately waiting for them to get a script and project I love

And @luckykbrew is one of those and here we are. Worth the wait

Because this is fun and romantic and sweet and heartfelt

@lydiapearlpentz is perfect as mega organized Celine who runs Harry's life so well he can't really cope without her, and then slowly realizes she does care more for Harry as well as the boy who saved her all those years ago.

@luckykbrew is super as Harry, he can do the comedy, the frustration when Harry is struggling to connect with Celine and then swoonworthy romantic lead. He is so so good.

Because there are gorgeous moments here when they each save the other, confess feelings or just sit together. It's really well done

And a bonus is the supporting characters are given a bit more

Even lovely Ryan @thealexanderavery admits going from design school to doctor is a random career move

@_jorda
ndyck gets a subplot and his own romance with Celine's romantic rival (help who is the actress please?)

And Uncle Patrick looks very dapper and does an excellent evil laugh as he is dragged away

There is a confidence here in both the cast and the viewers. Actors are given space to really connect with the script, and it is trusted this will draw us in rather than slaps or other rage bait content.

Which means this is a proper romance that everyone can enjoy.

Just super. Well done to everyone involved.

💖 Top swoonworthy moment:

So cute watching Harry work out his feelings, we have a sweet market date, and just a really wonderful proper romance. This is how it is done people. 2 people fall in love, and have to overcome some circumstances and their own fears and hesitations. It's simple - more like this please.

🦹🏼‍♂️ Top villain award:

We have dastardly Uncle Patrick (who is perhaps the best dressed villain in verts, he looks really good) and then Celine's dreadful father. Both equally awful.

😂 Comedy gold:

Um Harry thinking if he just stands around an Uber will turn up is one of the best pieces of comedy in a vert ever - gently poking fun at the ridiculous billionaire lifestyle.

🎺 Unsung hero:

The script and the costumes - Celine makes Harry put on jeans and a t-shirt rather than his billionaire suit for their date. This is something fans have been begging for. Plus at one stage Celine is in a hoodie, sweat pants and uggs, but still looks amazing. She has a super speech early on about how she values her hard work and qualifications more than a rival's inheritance from Daddy!
