⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

I know a lot of you love spice in your verticals, but at heart I am a closed door girl who just wants a cute romance that makes me smile. Simple really but hard to find

And then this from @ottawood_film_group on TikTok. Maybe it is because I am poorly with a virus but this was everything today. It made me happy and forget I felt ill for an hour and captures the joy of classic movies like Enchanted and even Princess Bride

It makes the most of the fish out of water jokes, keeps things current, Instagram and wifi are key plot points, and is always entertaining.

@_nicolemartin_ is superb, reminiscent of Drew Barrymore, with a perfectly pitched performance as naive, positive Snow who never becomes annoying and is always someone you root for

@kylanjmackenzie does sterling work just keep a straight face at some of the stuff she comes out with and will make everyone swoon with the ending

@shawnabram_ looks so like Max from the Gilmore Girls it is confusing, but also stops Luke becoming a total cad, and you feel for him at the end

@avery.lph gets some wonderful lines and is suitably mean.

@mattdixonofficial delivers smug cad to a t - really could have watched him get his comeuppance again

It's just wonderful, and cute and you could watch this with your family or show it to the kids. It's fun. And happy. And I have missed that sooooo much in verticals. And this made my day

💖 Top swoonworthy moment:

It's a very well done grumpy – sunshine romance, partly because Luke is a decent alternative, and you do wonder if Snow will end up with him. But from the moment he tucks that blanket in, we know Peter is in trouble, and the ending is really well done. Proper confession, true love's kiss and happily ever after.

🦹🏼‍♂️ Top villain award:

Prince Florian is an excellent cad but it is all about Ravenna - who styles out the outfits but is ultimately bested by not having the WIFI code.

😂 Comedy gold:

Lots of moments, from Snow White kneeing Prince Florian in the groin, to all the stuff with Peter's name, and the fish out of water comedy, Snow learning about emojis likes fruit!, not knowing what divorce or texting is, and more. But my favourite is the look of the office lady walking behind Ravennna as she waves that heart around.

🎺 Unsung hero:

Peter's ex who comes through, alerting Peter to the messages and tracking down who sent them.
